His experiences include managing an expanding and successful £150m business with over 8000 staff, advising successive governments on food and nutrition policy as well as many international speaking assignments.

Overview

Following a successful career in contract catering (operations and sales) I moved into the public sector at the time of competitive tendering. This allowed me to help develop what became Europe’s largest public sector caterer with a turnover of £80m. My move to Glasgow City Council in 1995 allowed me to expand and diversify into new and exciting markets such as FM and Care Services. I’m seen as an innovative people person with strong interpersonal and business skills. Industry recognition has followed business success:
