plusHR provides specialist Human Resources (HR) services to organisations of all sizes. We have two operating divisions:
Our HR Outsourcing Division specialises in providing outsourced HR and payroll services to small and medium-sized organisations. We offer both retained and ‘pay-as-you-go’ packages, covering a full range of HR services including recruitment, contracts and offer letters, policies and procedures, employment advice, performance issues and dismissals, grievances and payroll.
Our HR Consulting Division provides project-based, specialist HR and people management services including training, coaching, appraisal / performance management process design, and reward and benefits advice. Our consultants are all HR experts who have previously held Director-level, in-house HR roles within complex organisations.
We have a diverse range of clients spanning most business sectors including hospitality, recruitment, media, technology, healthcare, financial and professional services and not-for-profit. Founded in 2006 by two former HR Directors from Sony, plusHR prides itself on offering genuine people management expertise, driven by values such as delivery, practicality and transparency.

Position: Director, Reward Consulting
Background: Marc is an exceptionally experienced reward and performance management specialist. He has held a number of senior HR roles within LloydsTSB, Centrica, Reuters and British American Tobacco. As a reward consultant, Marc has worked with clients including Nationwide Building Society, Virgin Media, BAA and Kimberley Clarke. His particular specialisms are reward strategy, grade and benefit structures, benchmarking of reward arrangements, bonus and incentive design and implementation of new reward and benefit arrangements.

Position: Director, HR Outsourcing
Background: Colin has held board level HR positions notably with The Rank Organisation and Sony Music where he was Vice President of Human Resources. He has in-depth experience of HR as a generalist and has specialist expertise in industrial and employee relations, executive recruitment, remuneration and contract negotiations and mergers and acquisitions. Colin co-founded Plus HR with Stuart Hearn in 2006 and heads up plusHR’s HR and payroll outsourcing division.

Position: Director, HR Consulting
Background: Sharon’s in-house HR experience included Hilton International and Sony Music before moving to International Distillers and Vintners, the drinks division of Grand Metropolitan. As Director of HR Services she was part of the team which restructured and resourced the Diageo corporate centre following the merger with Guinness. As a consultant she has worked with clients across the fmcg, media, IT, financial services, recruitment and not for profit sectors. She is an engaging facilitator who challenges and supports senior managers to improve their leadership impact.

Position: Sales & Marketing Director
Background: Leanne joined the organisation in January 2011 and brings with her 20 years sales experience. She was involved in the launch and distribution of file finishing and on-line booking tools for the travel industry across the UK & Europe and has spent the last 3 years recruiting Sales and Marketing Managers for the hospitality industry.

Position: Director, Operations
Background: Stuart has held a range of generalist and specialist HR roles for multinational organisations including United Biscuits, BP, Boots and Sony, where he was Director of International HR for their music publishing division. He went on to co-found plusHR with Colin Blears in 2006. Stuart’s particular specialism is integrating technology with HR to enable organisations to improve the efficiency of their processes and the performance of their employees. In addition to his consulting work, he has spearheaded the design of plusHR’s own Vaado© HR and Performance Management systems. Stuart holds an honours degree in Human Resources Management and a post-graduate diploma in Computer Science.
